MINUTES FOR THE MEETING OF THE AMENITIES COMMITTEE HELD ON TUESDAY MAY 28th 2019 AT 7PM IN THE MORTIMER ROOM OF THE TOWN HALL.

 

Present: Cllrs A Parr, C Denny, P Arnott, R Watts, A Jarman, J Hay, C Pady, K Clifford, S

Real, J Gardiner, E Jones, R Turner and E Berry (Clerk).

 

A19/05/01 Election of Chair & Vice Chair

Cllr Real proposed Cllr Pady as Chair seconded by Cllr Clifford and duly elected.

Cllr Arnott proposed Cllr Hay as Vice Chair, seconded by Cllr Real and duly elected.

 

A19/05/02. To receive and accept apologies for absence: Cllr Jarman (work commitment)

 

A19/05/03. The Minutes of the Meeting held on 26th November 2018 (Appendix Q) were agreed and signed as being a true record of that meeting.

 

A19/05/04 There were no matters arising from the Minutes

 

A19/05/05 There were no Declarations of interest.

 

A19/05/06 Democratic Period - opportunity for public questions & comments - none

 

A19/05/07 Allotments - update after additional inspection of problem plots.

All tenants had responded, one is giving up ¼ of his plot which will be handed over to the next person on the list. Others have confirmed they wish to continue and two questioned the fact that they were regarded as a 'problem', these will be clarified at the Annual Inspection.
